I really love this Amalgam combo! Great merging of Nova's classic design with GL's!...and very nice art technique too. Feel free to post it at my Nova Prime group here at DA. The link is:

When Stan Lee wrote his versions of DC characters years ago I pictured him doing it like his classic MARVEL characters.

Superman/Spider-Man---Perry White writing Superman: Threat Or Menace editorials, Lois Lane likes photographer Clark Kent but is afraid of Superman, Jimmy Olson is Flash Thompson in that he picks on rival Clark but is a big Superman fan.
Ma Kent's always sick.

Wonder Woman/Thor---Wonder Woman acting like Thor with the speech patterns and such---When Dr. Diana Prince clangs her mystic braclets together she becomes the thunderous Wonder Woman. Hippolyta disapproves of her daughter's relationship with the mortal, Dr. Steve Trevor.

Green Arrow/Iron Man---Green A.R.R.O.W---(Armored Response Retaliation Omni-Weapon)---Oliver Queen billionare industrialist dons his special battle suit to fight threats to National Security.

Green Lantern/Dr. Strange---The Ancient One, Alan Scott, gives his worthy student, Hal Jordan, the ring of power when he masters the mystic arts. Aided by two students of the mystic arts, John and Kyle, plus his lover, Carol, with her mystic star sapphire, the Green Lantern battles the likes of Baron Guy Gardner and the Dread Sinestro.

Batman/DareDevil---Blinded by radioative waste Bruce Wayne's other senses are enhanced to superhuman levels including a radar sense. To fight for justice he uses his secret abilities as daredevil Batman.

Flash/Hulk---The madder Flash gets the faster Flash gets.

Doom Patrol/Fantastic Four---The Fantastic Patrol---Cosmic storm is passing through our solar system. Reed Richards intends to take his prototype space shuttle out there to study it up close. Sue Storm, a former actress ad now his personal assisstant will accompany him. As will her brother Johnny, a mechanical genius, who helped build the shuttle and cosmic probe. The pilot is astronaut Ben Grimm. Just before the launch date an accident (?) cripples Reed so he can't go on the flight. But the other three still can. The shuttle reaches a certain spot. Something goes wrong with the launch control and Sue and Johnny go EVA to manually launch the probe. The probe is launched into the storm. A bolt of cosmic energy backtracks the probe's flightpath and hit the shuttle. Sue and Johnny are sent hurtling through space and the ship tumbles back to Earth. Johnny's "Human Negative" flies loose and brings the siblings back to the ship. Ben, safe in his radiation proof cockpit can't regain control of the shuttle. The ship crashes into a lake and sinks. Eyewitnesses are startled to see a giant naked woman rise out of the water holding the smashed ship in her hands. Sue reaches the shore, lays the shuttle down, and passes out. She wakes up to find herself in a secret lab complex. Reed is there. He shows her Johnny who must now wear a special containment suit due to his radioactive body. Ben's body was destroyed in the crash but Reed managed to transplant his brain into a humanoid super-robot designed to explore Jupiter. Something happens and Reed convinces the three that their new abilites will be able to solve the problem . Thus begins the greatest adventure of the Fantastic Patrol.

It was some time ago. I would have included a Teen Titans/X-Men but came to the conclusion that the original X-Men acting like the original Teen Titans was more fun than the Titans acting like the X-Men. =)
